About Dudley & District Chess League

The league

There are two divisions playing in 2025-6 with 10 teams from 8 clubs: Halesowen, Kidderminster, Kinver, Kynoch, Mercia, Oscott (formerly Boldmere St Michael’s), South Birmingham, Stourbridge. In each Division, four players make up each team.

In 2025-6 Division 2 has four teams: Kidderminster, Oscott, South Birmingham and Kinver. Division 3 comprises seven teams Halesowen A and B, Kidderminster, Kynoch, Mercia, South Birmingham and Stourbridge.

The league is affiliated to Worcestershire Chess Association and the English Chess Federation.
